Interested in Umpiring?

UpdatedSunday November 3, 2019 byNorthampton Baseball & Softball.

If you have experience in umpiring or are interested in umpiring within the program, THEN WE WANT YOU !!

Ideally, all interested individuals should be licensed/trained umpires. However the league organizes umpire training clinics each spring for those rookie umpires.

As an independent contractor to the league, you will receive a stipend for each game that you umpire.

Former players who may now play for the High School baseball or softball teams are highly encouraged to umpire.

All potential candidates must complete these two forms each season:

  • You must complete the Volunteer Forms - these allow the league to perform all necessary background checks on an individual before being allowed to umpire games
  • Tax Form W9 must be completed. All umpires earning $600 or more in a given year will be issued a 1099 Miscellaneous Income form for tax reporting purposes.

Please complete both forms and mail to us:
